Holiday Traditions Celebrated in Area Schools

Holiday gifts from the heart have long been a tradition at St. Andrew’s Day School in Edgewater, which educates preschool through middle-school students.

The giving season begins with the distribution of Christmas stockings from to each grade. This year a total of 120 stockings will be filled with gifts for children of all ages.

“The children love picking out gifts for children their own age and filling the stockings up,” said preschool aide Linda Thusius, who coordinates the initiative. “We then deliver them to the Salvation Army”.
