Mile High Mike Alvarado Supports The Salvation Army

Reigning world champion boxer, “Mile High” MIKE ALVARADO, and his promoter Top Rank® join together to support The Salvation Army’s Colorado disaster relief and flood recovery efforts.

“I have a home in Colorado. I love this state. “We are so grateful,” said Salvation Army leader Lt. Colonel Dan Starrett of “Mile High” Mike’s generosity in his home state. “This support allows The Salvation Army to continue doing the most good for those impacted as they begin to rebuild their homes and their lives.”

“Colorado boxing fans have been so supportive of me throughout my entire career and I am only too happy to support the people of my state in their time of need. We all need to do our part,” said Alvarado.

The Salvation Army has been there for Colorado since the waters began to rise, supporting first responders and evacuees across the Front Range with more than 80,000 meals and 260,000 drinks.

Now entering the recovery phase, the organization prepares to continue providing disaster relief to those impacted over the next 3-5 years.
