It's called modern day slavery. We're talking about human trafficking; and local organizations and officials are working to abolish it.
It's estimated three-million people are currently victims of human trafficking.
The Salvation Army proved it's more than the red kettles you see during the holidays, by holding one of its community outreach programs Wednesday.
