Salvation Army Hands Out Free Treats for 77th Annual National Doughnut Day



It was a truly sweet day at Madison Square Park Friday as the Salvation Army dished out hundreds of donuts to pastry-loving passersby.
The 77th annual National Doughnut Day celebration featured free treats compliments of Entenmann’s and a host of plush toys for the calorie conscious.
"It’s the only thing I wanted," gushed Meni Tsoukalas, 29, from Upper West Side, after scooping up one of the toys.
"We will never forget this," said added Tsoukalas, who stopped by with a friend. "It has made our day."
