The Salvation Army Week

The Salvation Army is asking donors to do the most good this week.

The service organization is celebrating the annual National Salvation Army Week, as designated by President Dwight Eisenhower in 1954.

Salvation Army officials in southeast Michigan, meanwhile, are hosting “Doing the Most Good Week,” which coincides yearly with the national celebration.
