Holiday Helping: Angel Tree Update



As of this morning, 502 of the angels have been adopted from the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. This year, organizers hope to help more than 3,000 children and seniors in need–so there are a lot more angels still hanging on trees.

The Angel Tree program has more people to help this year because a handful of other holiday programs–including one of the area’s largest holiday assistance efforts–have folded and the Salvation Army agreed to lend a hand.
